Brian worked for over eight years in broadcast news. He loved the people with which he worked. He loved talking with people and hearing their stories. He hated the way the broadcast news industry treats people.
So he left.
He spent over two years in Ukraine, the vast majority of which he was in Bakhchisaray, Crimea. He loves talking about his experiences there and how they changed him, but always feels guilty for the Crimean/Russian history lessons he has to give people before they fully understand about what he is talking.
His interests have always leaned towards the nerdy/geeky. Comic books? Check. Videogames? Check. Film? Check. Gadgets and gizmos? Check.
He is the proud owner of a nook and has no intention of buying an iPad. Ever.
Travel is a passion of his, as is education. He yearns to return to Krakov and Istanbul besides his beloved Bakhchisaray.
Lately he has been enumerating, baling hay and taking photographs.
